EU Gateway Programme 2010 Environment & Energy-related Technologies and Construction & Building Technologies Exhibition Held in Korea

SEOUL, Korea (AVING) -- <Visual News> The EU Gateway Programme (www.eu-gateway.kr) 2010 Environment & Energy-related Technologies and Construction & Building Technologies exhibition will take place at the COEX Grand Ballrooom, Seoul on Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 June.

The EU Gateway Programme, funded and managed by the European Union, offers small-and medium-sized European enterprises possessing outstanding products and technology support in developing business cooperation with Korean companies. The Programme provides both European and Korean businesses with an opportunity to develop business relations within a carefully organised and professionally managed environment.

Under the Programme, selected EU companies from three industry areas – Construction & Building Technologies, Environment & Energy-related Technologies, and Healthcare & Medical Technologies –are scheduled to hold exhibitions in Korea from 2009–2014.

In this second year of the EU Gateway Programme in Korea, the Environment & Energy-related Technologies and Construction & Building Technologies exhibitions will be combined into a single exhibition. A wide variety of advanced products and technologies will be displayed by up to 60 companies from the 27 EU member states.

EU companies participating at the exhibition will present advanced products and technologies in fields including: new and renewable energy; wind and solar power; wastewater and sludge treatment; biogas; energy saving software and solutions for environmental and energy businesses; European lumber and stone; finishing and interior and exterior materials; building-related installations; and facilities and devices for construction and building.

During their one-week visit to Korea, EU participants will also learn about the Korean market through tours to local sites and will explore collaborative business opportunities with Korean businesses through individual business meetings.
