Oura Korea will participate in the 42nd International Exhibition on Environmental Technology & Green Energy (ENVEX 2020) to be held at COEX from June 17 (Wed) to 19 (Fri) to introduce breeze power control unit (OUR-N) and low resistance high efficiency master diffuser.

Oura Oil Group was founded in 1902. Located in Osaka, Japan, it boasts tradition. It is in various businesses such as selling petroleum products, LPG gas, insurance and auto supplies, and environment-related products. As it became important to preserve environment due to global warming, and air and water pollution, Oura Oil Group has established an environmental business division 20 years ago and is conducting eco-friendly product sales and water treatment business.

The Korean branch was established in 2009, and it conducted a joint research project with K-water for two years and developed breeze power control device (OUR-N) by using nitric oxide monitoring in batch process and low resistance high efficiency master diffuser. Also, it is conducting business by introducing wastewater treatment process using special microorganisms (Bio-RESE) and decompression evaporator and concentrator (ROCK-D&E) technologies from the head office. It is also installing equipment and designing plants in the water environment industry.

An official said, “OUR-N is more environmentally friendly than monitoring equipment using existing chemicals by monitoring nitric oxide using the oxygen consumption rate of microorganisms. Also, we can check the activity of microorganisms, so we can find the process status.” For Master Diffuser, it was used for air cleaning the membrane and bioreactor aeration tank, and is an improvement of our existing technology. This product consumes 20~30% less power than DISC type diffuser. The reaction tank is stirred smoothly to prevent sludge from accumulating on the bottom of the aeration tank.”

Next, he said, “We are planning to construct a system to help companies that are having difficulties in dealing with malignant wastewater in Korea, and furthermore, to recycle or discharge waste liquid.”

Marking its 42nd year this year, ENVEX 2020 has been serving as the business venue every year to help domestic environmental companies develop domestic and overseas markets. It has attracted 1,000 overseas buyers to provide business matching with the exhibitors in Korea.
