[ENVEX 2014] Green Pioneer, Develop the Ecotoxicity Diagnosis Kit Using Marine Algae

Green Pioneer (CEO Tae Joon Han, www.greenpioneer.co.kr) introduced the nation’s firstly developed ecotoxicity diagnosis kit using marine algae.

As a technology holding company of Incheon National University, this company secures fundamental technology through environment and natural ingredient research, and develops applicable products. Especially through fundamental technology that diagnoses and warns beforehand the danger of environmental pollution it has developed Eco toxicity diagnosis method using marine algae and registered it as a new ISO certified technology, and it has provided using plants an economic and efficient ecology pollution diagnosis, purification and restoration related technology

Also, they are accomplishing various tasks of environmental protection and global warming prevention through developing greenhouse gas reduction technology through photosynthesis of marine algae, and cosmetics, food and bio fuel research and development using marine algae and natural ingredients.

Introduced in this Expo ‘U-Kit’ is a toxicity diagnosis kit that uses laver’s reproduction through water quality pollution diagnosis technology that uses domestic ulva pertusa. Using the principle of diagnosing the pollution of the water quality through the changes in color of the laver’s leaves, the usage procedure is simple that not only professionals but ordinary people can easily use it.

The 36th International Exhibition on Environmental Technology & Green Energy(ENVEX2014www.envex.or.kr) takes place at COEX, Sanmsung-dong for four days from 10th(Tue.) to 13th(Fri.), which displays eco-friendly technologies·products under one roof. The 36th this year's show includes 186 domestic companies and 84 overseas companies from such as USA, China, Indonesia and Italy, 23 countries in total as the biggest scaled environment show in the country.
