Hosted by the Minister of Environment (Minister Sung Kyu Yoon), and supervised by the Korea Environment Corporation (board president Si Jin Lee), ‘2014 Greeative Youth Employment EXPO’ opened successfully in Seoul Samsungdong KOEX B1 Hall on June 10th to 11th.
In this Expo, top 180 environmental businesses participated on site or online. It provided an on-site interview opportunity for job seekers hoping for employment in the environmental business that has a bright future, and diverse booth events were held.
Especially, in preparation of the Emissions Trading Scheme that is scheduled to operate starting in 2015, and through the participation of 10 greenhouse gas management businesses, various information and jobs related to the field were provided. To increase the jobseeker’s comfort and employment, a prior matching program in which a professional recruitment manager connected the jobseeker to the business through the EXPO’s homepage was held.
Prior matching program increased the satisfaction of the jobseeker and on-site employment rate by directly connecting for optimal combination by comparing and reviewing the prior registered job seeker’s information and participating company’s detailed recruitment outline.
Jobseeker career consulting, job application letter clinic, aptitude test, interview coordination, image making and other various programs that can be actually used in the employment field were held.
Opened last year, ‘Greeative Youth Employment EXPO’ has a record of 180 businesses that participated online and onsite, and 213 were employed of 3223 jobseekers that participated.
The 36th International Exhibition on Environmental Technology & Green Energy(ENVEX2014www.envex.or.kr) takes place at COEX, Sanmsung-dong for four days from 10th(Tue.) to 13th(Fri.), which displays eco-friendly technologies·products under one roof. The 36th this year's show includes 186 domestic companies and 84 overseas companies from such as USA, China, Indonesia and Italy, 23 countries in total as the biggest scaled environment show in the country.
