EASYCHEM Participates in the 2021 K-Chemicals Cyber Exhibition “We will respond to the rapid localization of the material market due and develop future food!”

EASYCHEM Co., Ltd. (CEO Chang-bok Kim) participated in the 2021 K-Chemicals Cyber Exhibition.

Since its foundation in 2001, EASYCHEM has succeeded in localizing phosphorus coupling agents, monodisperse nanoparticles, microparticles, microcapsules, and functional PP adhesives, which have relied entirely on imports. In addition, it is moving toward becoming a leading company in the field of precision chemical materials, such as obtaining technological innovation (INNO-BIZ) certification through continuous research and development in new technology fields such as semiconductor-related CMPs and formaldehyde remover.

Their business portfolio has been diversified into high polymer material business units, artificial marble business units, and functional fabric business units to meet rapidly changing global market trends and industry trends. They also launched “EAGIS,” a protective clothing brand, and developed protective clothing to protect the safety of users from harmful factors in various industrial and medical sites.

Currently, artificial marble is fully supplied to LG Hausys, a company specializing in building materials, and high-functional laminating films are also expanding their business areas to medical and general industries by obtaining TOP Class ratings from the most prestigious international certification agencies.

EASYCHEM’s polymer material division is striving to localize parts materials that relied on imports by manufacturing and selling functional materials such as functional adhesives, monodisperse nanoparticles, microparticles, coupling agents, and microcapsules. These products are used in various fields such as electronic optical films, artificial marble, cosmetics, paint, semiconductor processes, and pesticides.

The artificial marble division established a production line on the site of Goesan-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do, producing excellent materials that will lead future residential and commercial cultures with excellent processability, various colors and luxurious textures.

The Functional Fabric Business Headquarters produces laminated fabrics and related finished products manufactured through a laminating process of various nonwoven fabrics such as PP and PET on breathable films. In particular, they are producing high-functional fabrics with quality and price competitiveness in the global market through the development of its own technology that provides virus blocking functions to general breathable films.

An official from EASYCHEM said, “We hope that this participation in the online permanent exhibition hall will serve as a steppingstone for contact-free exports. Our goal is to respond to the rapidly changing material market due to the impact of the 4th industrial revolution in the future and develop and commercialize products that can grow into future food that can preoccupy the market. To this end, we are additionally expanding manufacturing facilities to Cheongju headquarters.

“Because much heat dissipation of electronic materials causes fast failure, Easychem has a plan to respond to this need by applying microparticles to heat dissipation materials. Through this, we will try to preoccupy the material market by increasing the completeness of the product, they said.

Meanwhile, the 2021 K-Chemicals Cyber Exhibition, an online exhibition in the field of chemistry, opened in March and is always in operation, and currently has 270 chemical-related companies. It supports overseas marketing of domestic companies in a contact-free manner and boasts the largest scale in Korea where you can see various product information of industrial chemicals (paint, adhesive, surfactant, MDI, Polybutene, polyol, catalyst, foaming agent, additives, pipes, living plastics, additives, etc.) and cosmetics (sunblock, lotion, shampoo, face masks, etc.).

The chemical industry is closely linked to major industries such as electronics and automobiles and is especially at the center of the global issue of carbon neutrality. In line with this, the Korea Precision Chemical Industry Promotion Association (KSCIA), the organizer, is helping domestic chemical companies advance overseas through various support such as export, research and analysis, technical standards, HDR support, and international agreements. Based on companies entering online permanent exhibition halls in the chemical sector, it has accumulated more than $136 million in 2021 as of the third quarter and is holding online export consultations with KOTRA in addition to entering the online permanent exhibition hall.
