Data B Co., Ltd. is a company that developed and is operating Pcanpi, an AI English proofreading service for non-native English speakers. The company’s vision is to solve the communication problems of non-native speakers of English using artificial intelligence and natural language processing technology.

Pcanpi is a service that helps non-native speakers write naturally in English by correcting grammatical errors and awkward expressions. Pcanpi's English grammar checker is characterized by not only the basic corrections of spelling and punctuation but also coherent recommendations of more natural expressions based on its understanding of the context.

An official from the company stated, "Pcanpi has been continuously improving its performance since its launch, and the number of users has increased by sixfold every month since August 2022. Going forward, we plan to constantly improve Pcanpi’s proofreading performance and user experience. We intend on expanding our services to countries with large non-native English-speaking populations, including the US, India, the Philippines, and others.”

Meanwhile, Seoul was selected as one of the top ten global cities for startups in 2022. Various players in the startup ecosystem, including global enterprises, investment institutions, unicorn corporations, and international media companies, will participate to further invigorate the startup ecosystem in Seoul.
