Biggest congregation of industry professionals at Asia’s largest ICT, broadcast, digital multimedia and entertainment technology trade event.

The most relevant industry event of its kind in Asia, CommunicAsia2013,EnterpriseIT2013 and BroadcastAsia2013 open its doors today at Marina Bay Sands. From 18 – 21 June, attendees will experience a showcase of the latest developments and trends across the information and communications technology (ICT), broadcast, digital multimedia and entertainment technology industries.

The event draws more than 2,000 companies from 56 countries/regions, and over 50,000 attendees from around the world are expected to attend exhibitions, conferences and meetings at the four-day event. Over 350 industry experts will also come together at the conferences to share their knowledge and network with delegates.

As the most established technology showcase and meeting point for the ICT industry in Asia, the show will cover the latest updates to a myriad of technologies, including Over-the-Top (OTT), cloud computing, mobile applications and innovations, mobile broadband, LTE/4G, satellite communications, NFC and mCommerce and many more.

Joint Visionary Address and Thought-Leaders Panel

As the ICT and broadcast industries continue to transform, the shows address the convergence of technologies between the two, with global thought-leaders sharing their experiences on the most pertinent issues faced by professionals. In pace with rapidly evolving trends, the CommunicAsia2013 Summit and BroadcastAsia2013 International Conference feature a joint visionary address for the first time. Three speakers, Mr. Steve Leonard, Deputy Chairman of Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore, the Hon. Gordon Rich Phillips, Minister for Technology,State Government of Victoria, Australia, and Mr. Karim Temsamani, Head of Asia Pacific, Google, will deliver a three-part visionary address on 19 June 2013.

At the “Thought-Leaders Panel”, delegates will join the discussion with C-Level executives from both the telecommunications and broadcast sectors, who will highlight the co-relation between the two industries and discuss the opportunities for collaboration in an increasingly converged world.

The region’s premier integrated tradeshow for the professional audio, film and TV industries presents revolutionary products and technologies from international companies such as AutoDesk, EVS, Ericsson, Envivio, GoPro,GrassValley, Ikegami, Sennheiser, Orad, Pace, Panasonic and Yamaha. A total of 12 international group pavilions will be represented at the show this year.

BroadcastAsia2013 International Conference and Creative Content Production Conference

As the demand for next-generation services, such as multiple platforms and mobile devices increases, the industry needs to harness advance technologies to digitise and monetise content in order to stay relevant. This year, the BroadcastAsia International Conference is organised into two broad categories – Monetising Content – Innovative Business Models and Broadcast Technology and Infrastructure. A total of nine focused tracks at the conference are specially designed to address current changes and provide a discussion platform for new business opportunities.

More than 100 experts from the broadcasting industry will congregate to discuss pertinent issues such as OTT opportunities in Asia, multi-platform content monetisation and social TV, NextGen innovation and technology in TV and cloud broadcasting.
