COSES GT Co., Ltd., a company specializing in manufacturing and selling 3D COVER GLASS for mobile and vehicles, has succeeded in developing tempered glass that can be used as a cover window for a foldable phone using Ultra-Thin Glass. The decision to build a new factory in Jincheon-gun was recently decided with the continuous growth of foldable phones and demand for foldable laptops and curved glass displays for in-vehicle displays expected to increase continuously.

The product lineup includes 3D glass and protective film for mobile phones, 3D glass manufacturing for automobiles, and 3D glass for tablets/laptops, and they have manufacturing technology to double the productivity of previous method.

Tempered glass, which was recently developed as a representative product, has the advantage that it does not break or wrinkle even after being folded and unfolded more than 300,000 times, so it is gaining attention as it is expected to become a complementary product of colorless Polyimide (PI) which was plastic material that was applied for the products but had weakness of deformation such as scratches and wrinkles.
