ENERNET will participate in the Seoul Pavilion in CES 2021, the world's largest technology exhibition, to showcase its EG service that aids in making electric energy efficient.

The EG service enables communication byusing electric cables installed at the time of construction, preserving theappearance of the existing building. It can be installed without majorconstruction, so the electric energy can be checked even in old and shabbybuildings in real-time, so the users can manage the building and reduceelectricity expenses.

The company staff said, “The company'sservice has a very high economic value in terms of building energy efficiency,and it benefits the building owners by enabling sustainable management. Sincepower lines can be used for communication, it only takes four to five hours forinstallation, and there is no need for separate electric wires. It is aplug-and-play device. You can communicate with users in real time, and alsocreate a new business model (BM) for other services.”

Next, he said, “At this time when the untact era caused by the Green New Deal and COVID-19 is being emphasized, we are expanding the electric energy efficiency business for public and general buildings to the world.” He then added, “We are looking for investors and partners, and we plan to expand our business by conducting energy efficiency projects for public buildings in Seoul and pilot projects for New York buildings.”

Continuing from last year, Seoul Metropolitan City has formed Seoul Pavilion for CES 2021, and it will promote 15 outstanding companies selected in the three fields of △ transportation and environment, △ safety and welfare, and △ economy and living to the world. These companies that have been selected through the evaluation of their abilities to enter the overseas market by private investors will be provided with the expenses to participate in the CES online exhibition, and also with the opportunity to participate in the first Live CES Seoul event held by the global investor Plug-and-Play.
