LG Electronics participated in ‘CES 2018(Consumer Technology Show)’, the world’s largest IT consumer electronics show held in Las Vegas, the U.S.A. from Tues. 9th to Fri. 12th in Jan. and introduced a premium TV line-up with perfect image quality.

Through LG ThinQ’s TV natural language voice recognition function, the TV can be easily controlled with changing screen mode, changing channel, and adjusting volume. In the past, the user had to go through the complex steps to press remote control when changing the TV function or setting, however the user simply needs to press the voice recognition button on the magic remote control and speak to control LG THinQ TV.

LG Electronics installed image quality chip ‘Alpha 9’ developed independently on a model, OLED TV, which will be released this year and provides more perfect OLED image quality. It provides more vivid image by reducing noise compared with existing products and it expresses clear image by analyzing image data and improving contrast range, distinction, 3D effect, etc., and improves its performance and expresses vivid and realistic image quality such as expressing smooth movements without afterimage on the screen by supporting picture in 4K resolution HDR(High Dynamic Range) HFR(High Frame Rate).

‘Super Ultra HD TV’, which is a combination of Nano Cell technology and Full Array Local Dimming technology that partially lights up a LED light source of back light only as needed, has ultra-fine molecules of about 1 nanometer size which adjusts exquisitely color wavelength, so it expresses more colors accurately.

On the other hand, CES, the largest IT exhibition in the world, is held every January as sponsored by the American Consumer Technology Association(CTA), an exhibition to be able to understand the trends of the global consumer electronics industry at one sight.
