[CES 2018] HAP2U Introduces a Touch Interface Using Haptic Technologies

HAP2U participated in “CES(Consumer Electronics Show) 2018 Unveiled” held on January 7, 2018 in Las Vegas, USA to introduce a touch interface to which its own technologies are applied.

HAP2U applied the haptic technologies developed on its own to the inside of the screen. With this technology, supersonic vibration is generated while the friction between the fingers and the active plate are controlled in real time. Using the HAP2U touch interface, the user can experience various sense of touch in such a way as if the user actually turned the handle and pushed the cursor. Together with its solidity of being not affected by the surrounding environment such as dust, other distinctive features include its compatibleness with all other touch sensors, and its having no delay time due to its real-time feedback.

CES, the world’s largest IT exhibition, is an exhibition of trends in the global consumer electronics industry, held annually in January by the American Consumer Technology Association (CTA). Aving News reported the most issues of CES, MWC, and IFA, which are world’s top three tech exhibitions, during last 11 years. It is sending special reporters to CES for this year as well; reporting major issues in the world market and introduce Korea’s major companies all over the world.
