SOSO (CEO Min Dong-bin, www.soso-g.co.kr) showcased its Smart Wearable “BRAINNO”, which can measure brainwave signals, in the joint pavilion of the Mobile Technology Convergence Center (MTCC) at the world’s best IT technology exhibition ‘CES(Consumer Technology Show) 2016’ which runs Jan. 6-9 in Las Vegas Convention Center(LVCC).

This product is a smart wearable device that combines the device and animation game contents. It can simultaneously measure brainwave signals and heart rates, a first in the world.

“BRAINNO” measures 256 brainwave signals per second from both the left and right hemispheres. It analyzes concentration, relaxation, and balance of development of both hemispheres of the brain. It also measures the heart rate by using a light sensor system, and analyzes stress levels, cardiovascular function, and users’ overall health condition.

Introduced together, the mobile health care solution “B-Coach” simultaneously measures brainwave signals and heart rates, and analyzes brain activity and users’ health condition. It provides effective feedback to users via the interworking between cloud services and analysis database.

SOSO CEO Min Dong-bin said: “We are really happy to showcase our products, which will be soon commercialized to foreign buyers. We will put much effort in our market expansion to foreign countries, including the U.S, China, and Japan.”

Since 2008, the company has introduced two-channel brainwave measurement devices and brainwave analysis software and games. It will showcase various contents and solutions related to wearable devices, mobile healthcare solutions, and smart home services.

MTCC prepared the joint pavilion at this exhibition and supported related domestic companies’ participation in CES 2016, promoting the next-generation embedded system industry. It is mainly focused on the competitiveness reinforcement business of new mobile convergence in the global market.
