Buffalo to release its new 'DriveStation' with hardware encryption

SEOUL, Korea (AVING) -- <Visual News> Buffalo Technology has announced the availability of its new Buffalo DriveStation 'HD-CXU2' with hardware encryption in Korea market.

The new USB desktop hard drive offers a secure external storage solution in a shock resistant chassis with eco friendly features allowing users to securely back-up and store digital images, music, business documents and other files without taking up space on their PC's hard drive.

The new DriveStation with hardware encryption is available in two modes of encryption. Non-encryption mode allows data to be viewed by any computer connected to the drive while the full disk encryption mode with its robust AES256bit standard of encryption encrypts all data as soon as it is written to the drive, protected by a password that gives users the peace of mind that their data is secure and hidden.

The new DriveStation features include SecureLockManagerEasy which automatically remembers passwords, the Ecomanager feature that spins down the hard drive when idle, saving energy and the auto-power on/off switch automatically powers down the drive when the PC is shut down.

Suggested price is 129,900(KRW) for 1TB, 199,000(KRW) for 1.5TB and 349,000(KRW) for 2TB.
