DONGYANG ROPE(CEO, Sang-young Cha, www.ropes.co.kr) participated in 'Busan International Techtextile & Material Trade show 2012 (hereafter BITE 2012)' and introduced a self-developed super fiber ‘MirAcle’.

The super fiber ‘MirAcle(UHMWPE, Ultra-high Molecular Weight Polyethylene) is a density of 0.96 g/㎤, which is lighter than the density of water. In particular, its tensile strength is 35g/d of 1300Denier and its specific strength reaches 15 times of the iron.

‘MirAcle’ was developed by using its proprietary process technology and equipment. Until now, it has known as the strongest and lightest material in the developed super-fiber. Because it has excellent wear resistance, it can be applied to a variety of products, such as Kevlar, high-performance marine ropes, fishing line, artificial joints, dental floss, cutting processing and industrial safety gloves.

Meanwhile, 'Busan International Techtextile & Material Trade show 2012 (hereafter BITE 2012)' hosted by Busan metropolitan city and supervised by BITA (Busan, Ulsan and Kyungnam Industrial Textile Industry Association) is held at Busan, the Mecca of industrial textile. Varied textiles are displayed including textile for marine industry, textile for construction and interior and textile for medical care and defense industry.
