Bio-S CO., LTD., (CEO Seok-soon Park) participated in the 2021 K-Chemicals Cyber Exhibition.
In 2015, BIO-S Co., Ltd. launched the cosmetics brand Bio-S. Bio-S, a healthy beauty brand that pursues the healthy beauty of “Me” with the message “Make me Special,” with skin care products as their main product. It delivers messages with products containing functional and healthy ingredients that have effects such as wrinkle improvement and brightening.
It is famous for being healthy, such as face masks containing “Cordyceps militaris, Ginseng, and Deer Antler,” and a peeling pad containing “Cordyceps militaris extract,” and all five functional products were selected as idea products at the 2020 Seoul Awards. They also have a skin elasticity line containing “VOLUFILINE,” a French patented plant ingredient.
A BIO-S official said, “Bio-S is a skincare brand composed of healthy ingredients for the skin and is prepared to promote the healthy beauty of K-beauty to the world.” Five of the wrinkle-improving functional products have been registered as Over The Counter (FDA-OTC) in the U.S., and have also completed the acquisition of National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) in China. Since overseas standard certification has been prepared, which is essential for entering overseas markets, we would like to meet many buyers through this exhibition and promote our products widely, they said.
Furthermore, “Currently, Bio-S has entered Amazon (USA), SHOPEE (Singapore, Malaysia, etc.), and Qoo10 JP (Japan) and is making various attempts to enter overseas markets. We will not settle for this and go further to explore overseas markets, they said.
Meanwhile, the 2021 K-Chemicals Cyber Exhibition, an online exhibition in the field of chemistry, opened in March and is always in operation, and currently has 270 chemical-related companies. It supports overseas marketing of domestic companies in a contact-free manner and boasts the largest scale in Korea where you can see various product information of industrial chemicals (paint, adhesive, surfactant, MDI, Polybutene, polyol, catalyst, foaming agent, additives, pipes, living plastics, additives, etc.) and cosmetics (sunblock, lotion, shampoo, face masks, etc.).
The chemical industry is closely linked to major industries such as electronics and automobiles and is especially at the center of the global issue of carbon neutrality. In line with this, the Korea Precision Chemical Industry Promotion Association (KSCIA), the organizer, is helping domestic chemical companies advance overseas through various support such as export, research and analysis, technical standards, HDR support, and international agreements. Based on companies entering online permanent exhibition halls in the chemical sector, it has accumulated more than $136 million in 2021 as of the third quarter and is holding online export consultations with KOTRA in addition to entering the online permanent exhibition hall.
