[BEST OF MIK MWC] TELEPASEE, introduced a ‘New Concept Translation System’

‘TELEPASEE’ has participated in the global Start-Up exhibition ‘4YFN’ that was jointly held with ‘MWC 2018’ as Smart Venture Campus Joint Booth, and was selected as 'best of mik @ 4YFN'.

'BEST OF MIK @ 4YFN' selected only excellent companies among '4YFN' exhibitors, and selected companies will be given opportunities to press pitch with foreign journalists such as USA, China and Germany. Furthermore, it becomes the subject of Top3 selected by global media.

Machine translation is cheap and comfortable for users to use, but it has a flaw for corporations to use since it is not accurate. On the contrary, the translation system of TELEPASEE is convenient just like machine translation, but shows high-quality of translation more than human translation. Since the system proceeds through human translation API developed independently, it can secure the necessary language data for AI in the translation process. In addition, the users can use the service faster for lower price than the current system.

Song Ji-Hwan, CEO of TELEPASEE said “The system currently supports Korean, English, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese, Japanese and Thai and we’d like to expand with more language in the future.” He also subsequently said, “we’d like to grow into a main company of language big data in Asia by starting this business in Japan, China, and Southeast Asian countries first.” He answered a question that he has a role model, “I admire Son Jeong-ui, CEO of Softbank” and “I want to have an insight to see the future beforehand and invest.”

On the other hand, the Smart Venture Campus, which is in the process of supporting companies, runs a variety of projects to discover and nurture talented young CEOs and specialists in the areas of apps, web, contents, SW, and convergence. It also helps promote the start-up of a pre-founder with a creative identity and actively supports the growth of early-start companies. The 4YFN also plans to actively support top domestic companies.

Aving News, the global news network that reported the most issues of CES, MWC and IFA, the world's top three tech exhibitions over the past 11 years, sent a special report team to MWC this year to report major issues in the global market, introducing Korean major companies to the world. Aving News covers and reports more than 300 to 1,000 international exhibitions each year.
