RF, (CEO Lee Soon-bok), participated in ‘CES 2018(Consumer Technology Show)’, the world’s largest IT consumer electronics show held in Las Vegas, the U.S.A. from Tues. 9th to Fri. 12th in Jan. and introduced a window cleaning robot ‘WINDOWMATE’.

At this exhibition, ‘WINDOWMATE’ was selected as BEST OF MIK CES TOP 10. ‘BEST OF MIK(MADE IN KOREA) CES TOP10’ selected only 10 companies among CES 2018 domestic exhibitors by global news network, Aving news and foreign news reporters from USA, China and other countries considering technological trend and growth potential of the companies and each media will make a final evaluation during the CES exhibition and select the TOP3 for official announcement.

A window cleaning robot ‘Windowmate’ is used by sticking inside and outside of a window, using strong permanent magnet(neodymium magnet). The magnetism is kept up to 3cm of a window, and windowmate gives convenience when cleaning windows since it comes back to where it was firstly attached when cleaning is done. After attaching to both sides of a window, pressing a button only one time, it automatically recognizes the window width and height and carries out cleaning by self-driving.

This support precise cleaning with 4 sensors such as ultrasonic sensor, acceleration sensor, contact sensor, magnetic sensor, etc., and cleans spotlessly with edge cleaning function at an edge.

Windowmate is possible to control with wireless remote-control and it is safe since it does not fall off thanks to strong neodymium magnet even though the power is cut off. It can be easily charged with lithium battery. It is possible to use it for 90 minutes after charging it fully (120~150 minutes)

Windowmate won two awards at ‘CES 2017’ for two categories - Home Appliances, Tech For A Better World, and proved its technology and market potential.

In also Japanese market, which has high requirement in verification of goods, it has been recognized so it will be launched in the Japanese market on Wed. 24th, Jan. ‘SODC(Sales On Demand Corporation)’ will act as an official importer in Japan. SODC was also a solo distributer of IRobot, a US cleaning robot brand until March, 2017.

On the other hand, CES, the largest IT exhibition in the world, is held every January as sponsored by the American Consumer Technology Association(CTA), an exhibition to be able to understand the trends of the tech and consumer electronics industry of the world at one sight.
