AVING News to be a Global Media Partner of ‘Renewable Energy Korea (REK) 2011!’

AVING, the global news network covering and reporting products and exhibitions in the world, has made an official global media partnership agreement with the organizer of ‘Renewable Energy Korea (REK) 2011,’ which’s going to be held in COEX, Seoul, Korea, from Oct 19 to 22.

In REK 2011, Bloomberg and EnergyTrend, which are globally well-known media, are also taking part as media partners for reporting newest news on REK 2011 to the world.

This year, REK is held under the slogan ‘Renew Our Future with Renewable Energy.’ In REK 2010, 136 companies from 14 countries participated and 1.23 million (USD) was achieved through export consultations, developed as a successful exhibition, which’s hosted by the government, to provide optimum business opportunities to companies of renewable energy.

In REK 2011, a number of global leading companies in renewable energy like Samsung Heavy Industries, Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction, Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering, and Vestas will take part. For offering a practical place of business to exhibitors and buyers, REK will provide optimum business environment by on/offline promotion activities through major media and inviting a great number of end users with purchasing power, such as local governments and investors for public institutions.

During the exhibition, diverse additional events like export consultations, conference, and seminar organized by KOTRA, ‘Green Ocean Forum’ organized by The Korea Electric Times, ‘International Wind Power Forum’ organized by KOTRA and KWEIA (Korea Wind Energy Industry Association), and ‘Renewable Energy Grand Prize Award’ are held. Especially in Green Ocean Forum, top experts in renewable energy are participating for prospecting the industry and market and suggesting future competition strategies.

Furthermore, there’re various events like street campaign with celebrities for promoting the renewable energy industry and the exhibition. And the last day of exhibition is held as ‘Public Day’ for ordinary people to visit the exhibition without entrance fee.

This exhibition, co-held with ‘The 31st Korea Green Energy Show,’ provides good opportunities to figure out the trend within the industry, encompassing energy efficiency, climate change, etc. Admission is free and pre-registration is available in the official website (www.nre-korea.or.kr).
