AVING News selects outstanding companies as BEST OF Photonics Korea 2021!

In the International Photonics Convergence Industry Exhibition and Conference 2021, the global news network AVING News selected companies to receive the BEST OF Photonics Korea 2021 award.

GOC developed optical cable that can block hacking!

Since its establishment in 2001, GOC has been supplying optical cables for nuclear power plants, optical cables for indoor and outdoor use, optical components, and environmental sensor products that have expanded and applied optical sensing technology, based on technological superiority through continuous investment, and is currently developing biosensors.

Based on high-level cable structure, design sheathing, selection of reinforcing materials, and process technology, it possesses market-dominant product power. Also, it has secured production facilities as well as cable design technology that can meet various requirements.

At the show, Han Gil-jeong, the Manager of GOC, said, “We have developed an optical cable that can block hacking and an optical cable that can be used in nuclear power plants.” He continued, “We are also developing a device that checks blood sugar using a sensor without drawing blood.”

APACK announces LED lighting with excellent heat dissipation technology

Based on its specialized heat dissipation technology, APACK provides not only LED lighting for sports facilities, roads, industrial/commercial and plant cultivation, but also eco-friendly energy systems such as solar collectors and PV washing machines.

A staff from APACK who participated in Photonics Korea 2021 said, “APACK is a company specializing in high-power LED lighting. We supply LED high-power floodlights to golf courses and soccer fields.” Also, industrial lighting is used for high-ceiling lamps in large markets and factory lights.”

He continued, “Recently, we are working on a plant LED lighting business that can grow plants while irradiating light effective for photosynthesis of plants with LED wavelengths.”

Also, when asked about competitiveness, he said, “We have the heat dissipation technology as the original technology. We have the technology to effectively dissipate the heat from the LED, so we are confident in securing the long life and reliability of the LED.” He continued, “Currently, we are exporting to Germany, the US, and Japan, and we are discussing export with several countries like Indonesia, Vietnam, and Sri Lanka.”
