AIMMO Introduces the Latest Smart Labeling Technology at CES 2022

AI Data Company AIMMO (CEO Seung-taek Oh) participated in CES 2022 in Las Vegas for three days from January 5th to 7th to demonstrate the latest smart labeling technology showcase.

CES is the world’s largest consumer electronics and information technology (IT) fair and is held every January, but last year it was held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year, it was held offline for the first time in two years, drawing keen attention from the industry, and more than 400 domestic companies were expected to apply for participation, which was the largest ever.

AIMMO introduced a ‘Custom Model’ that allows users to create a learning model according to the purpose of the project by uploading original data among “Smart Labeling” technologies that automatically label data necessary for autonomous driving and smart city fields and Even if there is no original data, the ‘Preset Model,’ which can be labeled by applying object data produced in advance by AIMMO, will also be demonstrated to global customers who visit CES.

In addition, AIMMO will set up an experience zone in the booth to provide customers who visit the booth and apply for pre-meeting with opportunities to experience smart labeling technology.

The upgraded smart labeling technology unveiled at CES 2022 is currently only available on AIMMO LabelOps, an internal platform used by AIMMO to process high-quality learning data, but it will be released during the first half of this year so that corporate customers can use it directly through the ‘AIMMO Enterprise’.

Do-il Jung, Head of AIMMO’s Global Business, said, “We plan to lower corporate entry barriers to data acquisition and processing in the global AI market with improved smart labeling technology unveiled at CES 2022 and position as a global AI data company.”

AIMMO uses smart labeling technology to automate data labeling projects in various fields such as autonomous driving, smart cities, retail, drones, OCR, and video monitoring and provides learning data processing platform “AIMMO Enterprise” to global companies such as the UK, Japan, and Vietnam to carry out various AI data projects.

At CES 2022, which was held online and offline for the first time in two years, the Ministry of Science and ICT (Minister Lim Hye-sook, hereinafter referred to as “Minister of Science and ICT”) and six companies (INFINIC, AI-PET, Our Lab, Amo, MJVision Tech) participated.

The artificial intelligence learning data construction project organized by the Ministry of Science and ICT and promoted by the Korea Intelligence Information Society Promotion Agency will be opened through AI-Hub by building a total of 1,300 types of data by 2025. The project is becoming a driving force for the growth of small and medium-sized artificial intelligence companies, venture companies, and startups in Korea by solving the difficulty of building high-cost and long-term data. 191 types of artificial intelligence learning data opened on AI-Hub can be easily downloaded by anyone on the AI-Hub website.

Meanwhile, CES, the world’s largest IT exhibition, is an exhibition where you can grasp the flow of the global home appliance industry at a glance. It is hosted by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) and is held every January. AVING NEWS, which has been covering CES for 16 consecutive years, has been sending the most news around the world every year since 2006, and will host ‘Best of CES 2022’ to select the best innovative products and technologies and ‘BEST OF MADE IN KOREA’ to select notable Korean companies. In addition, AVING LIVE, which conveys issues at the CES site, will be held for 7 days including Media Day.
