The ‘2022 InterCHARM Korea’, an exhibition specializing in beauty and cosmetics, was opened on September 21 (Wednesday) at COEX, Seoul.
Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, ‘2022 InterCHARM Korea’ is jointly hosted by Seoul Messe International and Lead K Fairs Co., Ltd. It is a global beauty trade exhibition held annually and it is certified by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. More than 3,000 buyers from 50 countries visit each year, and evaluations show that it has grown into a global exhibition that overseas buyers directly visit as with how the exhibition slogan goes.
The organizers explained that the systematic and customized exhibition was still opened despite the difficult situation due to COVID-19. It was the only event that was continuously held in Korea, which gave it an opportunity to grow into a professional B2B event.
InterCHARM Korea 2022, held until September 23 (Fri), was reborn as an offline-focused professional exhibition during an endemic.
First, a large-scale offline conference was prepared by directly inviting large overseas buyers from major countries. Even if exporting to China is difficult, through inviting actual buyers from 20 countries, including the Americas, Europe, and emerging countries in Southeast Asia, SMEs can establish a foothold for export.
Creation practical business is expected through hosting an offline 1:1 export consultation with the Korea Federation of Special Sales Enterprise and inviting domestic buyers and major trade buyers to greatly expand the consultations for SMEs’ export expansion throughout the exhibition period.
In addition, through the online matchmaking program with buyers, information about the buyer is shared with participating companies, even if you cannot meet the buyer in person, to support continuous marketing activities
Lastly, for the marketing and promotion of consumerism for participating companies, the company actively supported the companies to maximize marketing effects, such as broadcasting live on-site broadcasts around the world through the global media channel Aving News.
An official from the organizer of the exhibition said, “Recently, the domestic beauty and cosmetics industry has been stagnant due to COVID-19 and as this difficult situation continues, companies are keenly feeling the market for marketing and market development, so we anticipate that the K-beauty craze will continue centering on cosmetic brands. We expect that InterCHARM Korea, which will be held for three days from September 21 to 23, will be an opportunity for K-beauty to take a leap forward, and we will do our best to prepare for the rapidly changing beauty industry and distribution system.”
