At the Green Energy Expo exhibition hall,AVING News met Solar Play’s Domestic Sales Team Leader Park Yong-jin for an interview.

Q1. Company introduction

A. Park: Founded in 2001, we have beenengaged in new and renewable energy businesses. We are running the businessfrom A to Z of solar power plant, and this year, we are focusing on the roofsolar power business. From 2014 to last year, we have devoted ourselves to thedevelopment and operation of our own power plant business, and as of 2020, weown and operate a power plant of about 20 ㎿. Since wehave been in construction for 20 years, we take pride in taking full responsibilityin construction and providing the best quality.

Q2. Thoughts on the Korean solar power generation industry

A. Park: Korea's solar power generationindustry is still in short supply compared to other OECD countries and needs tobe further activated. As such, there should be more government support, and Ithink that companies should also actively jump into new and renewable energybusinesses such as solar power generation and produce more results than theyare now.

Considering 20-30 years later, or evenlater, solar power plant must be installed so that future generations can livein good environments. With that in mind, I hope that government officials andindustry will put more effort into actively accepting solar power generationwithout hesitation.

Q3. Purpose of participation in the exhibition

A. Park: We participated to activelypromote the roof solar power business that we are currently focusing on. I wouldlike to let you know that we can provide a comprehensive solution fromconstruction of roof solar power to financial support. It is reliable becausewe have a professional roof solar construction team that provides one-stopsolution from construction to prompt technical service.

Q4. Future plans

A. Park: We want to focus on solar power onthe roof. We will actively promote roof solar power to factories that do nothave solar power installed so that solar power can be installed throughoutKorea.
