Sung Chang (CEO Lee Jae-jin) participatedin the International Green Energy Expo 2021 held at EXCO, Daegu from April 28(Wed) to 30 (Fri) and introduced its traceable solar power generation device

Founded in 1991, Sung Chang is KT’spartner, and it has continued to develop its technology as a R&D-orientedventure company. It has developed NON-CPU tracking-type solar power plant andultra-compact DC uninterruptible power supply device as a national R&Dproject, a convergence technology development project by MSS, and a jointR&D project by MSIT. Also, as a specialized solar company, it has focusedon new and renewable energy mainly by public corporations, power generationcompanies, private houses, farmland, and farms.

Sung Chang CEO Lee Jae-jin said at 2021Green Energy Expo, “We are introducing a tracking solar power generation deviceand a REMS-type RTU device used by Korea Energy Agency. It moves by opticalsensor method, and increases the generation amount all day by facing the sunall day.”

When asked about the features of thetracked solar power generation device, he emphasized on the technologicalcapabilities of Sung Chang and said, “We can easily install it by building thefoundation by digging the ground. We can expect to see the improvement in generationof up to 30% per year.”

On top of this, CEO Lee emphasized on thestability, saying, “To reduce the risk of failure, we have installed themonitoring system. We can keep checking for the abnormalities.”

He also introduced the RTU device bysaying, “We have developed the REMS-type RTU device in 2018.” He added,"The RTU device developed by our company uses KT's NB-IoT communicationnetwork. It is a technology that can secure a communication network andcommunicate wirelessly through KT's LTE network." He then said again,"It is an essential equipment for the energy industrial complex supplybusinesses such as convergence businesses and building supportbusinesses."
