BUSAN, Korea (AVING Special Report on '2008 BIMOS') -- <Visual News> The 4th Busan International Motor Show 2008 today opens its door at BEXCO in Busan, under the theme of 'Automobile, It's a culture beyond life.'
Displaying a total of 12 Asia Premieres, 10 Korea Premieres, 11 concept cars and 13 eco-friendly cars, the BIMOS 2008 is held for 11 days from May 2 2008 to May 12, 2008.
The BIMOS 2008 is expected to attract 110 Korean and 40 foreign auto-related business enterprises, the largest number ever to be seen in the nation.
The participants include seven domestic manufacturers of finished cars, such as Hyundai, Kia, Renault-Samsung and Ssangyong, as well as 17 foreign competitors, including BMW, Audi, GM, Ford and Mercedes- Benz. In addition, 122 makers of auto parts and components take part in the show by setting up their own booths. Also taking part in the auto show is the Japanese makers Toyota, Honda and Nissan, which are rapidly increasing their market shares in Korea.
