'The Gold Tree Coffee(www.gt-coffee.com)', have presented a special high-quality coffee which could suit korean's taste, 'Lee Junggi Coffehouse' coffee beans at this '12th Seoul café show' that is scheduled to be open from 21st to 24th of this month.
'The Gold Tree coffee', known as 'Lee Junggi Coffeehouse', is running a variety of business besides selling coffee, such as coffee-related goods and coffee education. Lee junggi is a coffee-expert, who have already presented a dripper called 'CoffeeCoffee'at 1990. He is introducing coffee beans that are based on the korean's taste, a soft and savory taste of roasting and blending unlike the Japanese style coffee.
The Korean style coffee extracting method that is introduced by the 'Gold Tree Coffee' is to put 8grams of coffee into the dripper and extract by a high-temperature water. Then after a one minute wait, the process is done secondly. The people who likes the soft and sweet taste of the coffee prefers this method..
The 'Lee junggi coffeehouse', which is known by this method aims to spare the sweet taste of coffee unlike the popularized Japanese and European method, by roasting the coffee in a short time. Also it prefers the diluted coffee, to make it weak and delicious. It is recommended for people who are uncomfortable with the strong and deep taste and to people who drinks coffee frequently.
The opinions of undiluted and diluted coffee differs, but the continued effort of developing a Korean-style coffee for 20 years is noticeable in the aspect of development of coffee related culture and diversity. During this exhibition period, there was also an introduction of the extraction process using the 'Clever(a tool used to extract coffee)' and tasting samples. By the dilution standard of 1:10 of coffee extracted by Clever to water, one could adjust the amount of water according to one's preferences.
There could be a tip, but no answer in enjoying coffee. It is important to choose the base materials (new crop, coffee beans), but the way to enjoy it differs by person. In this behalf, an effort to extract diverse tastes of coffee could be a good experience to explore the world of coffee.
