The Korea's representative exhibition for Eco environment and Green growth, 'The 3rd International LED & Display Expo' is held on 29th Aug. -31st at EXCO, Korea.
Global two-top companies of 'Philips Lumileds' and 'GE Lighting', the Korea's number one company 'Nuriplan' as well as Daegu's main companies including 'Heesung Electronics', 'TECHEN' and 'Korea semiconductor illumination' participate in 'The 3rd International LED & Display Expo' (Hereafter, LED Plus). It's co-hosted by Daegu si, Gyeongbuk-do and Korea LED Association and supervised by 'Exco'
In addition, varied special Pavilions such as 'Illumination Designer Exhibition' by Korea Association of Industrial Designers, 'Exhibition of Ship light/Fish-luring light' by 'National Fisheries Research and Development Institute', 'LED illumination co-pavilion' by 'KOREA LED Association', 'Promotion pavilion for Yeung-Nam university LED-IT center','Co-Pavilion of Korea illumination distribution association' and 'Special pavilion for Media-Facade' will attract visitor's attention at 'LED Plus', held with 117 companies and 318 booth-scale.
In particular, 1:1 export consulting with 90 foreign buyers who come from 16 countries such as America, Europe, China, Taiwon, East Asia as well as Japan, the country showing growing LED demand after a severe earthquake will be held.
The number of 500 public officials who come from 15 local governments working in charge of LED dissemination are going to have a seminar for LED dissemination and have a consulting with participated companies.
Particularly, 'The 2nd World LED Standardization Conference (International LED standard conference)' is strategically prepared to strength Patent Correspondence Capability and International Standard for LED Illumination. This conference, is expected to intensively highlight International Standardization Trend and to make Korea as a leading country when making International Standardization.
This year, global company's leaders who come from 6 countries and LED association's chairman including Mr.Ralph Tuttle, the highest adviser of CREE, a LED chip manufacture will participate at this conference.
"This company is upgraded at both sides of quality and quantity, so i anticipate that we contribute to development of LED industry and provide a fruitful business opportunity" said Kim Jichae, a section chief of Daegu Metropolitan City.
