
SEOUL, Korea (AVING Special Report on 'PHOTO&IMAGING 2011') -- <Visual News> Olympus Korea (representative Il-Seok Bang, www.olympus.co.kr) has held the 'Special Exhibition' by YAMAGISHI Shin, a famous Japanese photographer and the '4 Olympus Pen Photo Exhibition Professionalism' being consisted of 4 themes like documentary/travel/portrait/fashion at the 'PHOTO&IMAGING 2011(P&I 2011)' held at COEX, Seoul, Korea on April 21~24.
Works which are going to be unveiled for this show are 100 pieces, 40 photos by YAMAGISHI Shin and 60 by Korean photographers such as Hyung-Wook Kim, Young-ho Kwon, Jun-Hyun Kim and Young-Chul Hwang. All photos had taken with Olympus Pen, the hybrid camera.
Jonh-Chul Chun, the director of Olympus Korea IMC Group, said "These special exhibitions during 'P&I 2011' is very special chance to meet famous artworks from Korea and overseas at one place that we can see normally in Korea. It's expected that many camera manias as well as PED users will show favorable responses on that they can check the know-how for various shooting techniques expressed with PEN as well as enjoy good photographs."
Olympus Korea unveils its 2011 new compact camera during this show. In addition, this Olympus booth will be decorated as open multiplex space that consumers can take part in by arranging experience zone by themes utilizing the existing Olympus cameras including PEN.
