
SINGAPORE, Singapore (AVING Special Report on 'ATF 2010') -- <Visual News> Korean terrestrial broadcasters set out the promotion of Korean video contents and export expansion at 'ATF(Asia TV Forum) 2010', an Asian culture content market. KBS Media, MBC, SBS Contents Hub and EBS will participate to the Korean Broadcasting Pavilion which is operated by Korea Creative Content Agency(KOCCA). They will introduce their popular video contents such as drama, documentary and animation etc. and try to expand export by promoting superiority of Korean Contents to Asian Market.
KBS media introduced 'Mary is out at Night, 'The Fugitive: Plan B', 'Wildlife Architects', 'Bread, Love and Dreams' and 'The King of Legend' and so on. 'Mary is out at Night' is reality virtual drama about marriage. Young people's work and love, meaning of life are expressed in this drama in a pleasant, chatty style presenting meaningful message like marriage and society, reconciliation with family. 
MBC introduced 'Queen of reversal', 'Home, Sweet Home', 'Flames of Desire', 'Gloria', 'All My Love For You' and 'My Princess' etc. 'Queen of reversal' is very funny romantic drama of a couple with the story that a woman who had thought marriage with a lover is the best happiness in life go through many tough and unexpected happenings and finally win. This story makes people feel good by expressing understanding working people with comic and sincere tough. 
SBS Contents Hub launched 'Secret Garden', 'Athena', 'Big Thing', 'Dr. Champ' and 'Smile, Mommy' etc. 'Secret Garden' has the story that a man and a women exchanged their spirit each other became to find their ego. It's a romantic comedy about an arrogant department store owner and a stunt girl who is dreaming to be a martial art director. 
Educational broadcasting system EBS introduced documentaries such as 'The Mammoth, Titan of the Ice Age', 'Tarbosaurus, the Mightiest Ever', 'The Himalayas' and 'Angkor Wat, the City of Gods', and animation such as 'Oops! I-Kooo!' 'The Mammoth, Titan of the Ice Age' is the documentary that the main characters of the coldest and harshest Ice Age realized by Korea's top 3D technology. There are the birth and the growth of the baby mammoth and the life of Cenozoic mammals. Its scenario and storyboard which are based on scientific materials and factual grounds stand out.
5 Cable Broadcasting Systems, 10 Independent distributors and productions and 5 3D•VFX contents creating productions participated to this Korea Pavilion. KOCCA has a plan to help export of Korea Broadcast Contents and enhance its competitiveness at global markets through operating Korea Pavilion.
ATF is the 11st international event and the market connecting TV programs and buyers. ATF held at Suntec Convention Center, Singapore for 3 days from December 8th to 10th. Singapore Media Development Authority(MDA) supports this event.
Last year, a total of 740 companies from 53 countries have participated and the volume of business was 88.9 million dollars.
