Gwangmyeong G-Hub is recruiting companies to participate in Overseas Networking and Market Support Project under the theme "Earth-protecting Entrepreneurship - Globalization" for startups in Gyeonggi area that are seeking to enter the overseas market.

The market size of the eco-friendly products in Korea is about 4 billion won as of the end of December 2018, and the market size is continuously expanding. Also, through the Green New Deal announced by the government in July 2020, it is expected to grow significantly in the future, but it is not as active as in overseas markets such as Europe.

In other words, since it is hard for eco-friendly products or services to grow without entering overseas markets, the Gwangmyeong G-Hub, which leads eco design/contents convergence entrepreneurship, established a program to enter the overseas markets specialized in the eco industry.

This project selects a total of 20 teams of startups with eco products or contents that have been founded less than seven years ago. The selected teams are given opportunities for training and one-on-one consulting to diagnose the overseas expansion competencies to establish advancement strategy. A total of 15 teams selected as outstanding companies will be given marketing fund of 4 mil. won per team, and support for investor/buyer matching and B2C sales will be given online.

Also, by cooperating with Gwangmyeong Upcycle Art Center, an opportunity to participate in the International Upcycle Design Week held in Europe from November 5 to 12t will be given.

Customized marketing such as promotional material for overseas expansion, video, IR material, business proposal, promotion/advertising for entering the market, trade show/consultation for meeting buyers, contract, and translation/interpretation are provided according to the overseas expansion strategies and needs, and this support can be asked again within the budget.

The application can be filled out by logging onto G-Hub webpage (www.gcon.or.kr/ghub) and downloading the application and business plan template. It will be accepted from August 24 to September 14.

For inquiries, contact the Gwangmyeong G-Hub Overseas Networking and Sales Support Project management office (02-876-9900, mdgmain@naver.com).

Gwangmyeong G-Hub is a cultural startup space that supports startups and creations established by Gyeonggi-do, Gwangmyeong-si, and Gyeonggi Contents Agency to build a startup ecosystem in the field of eco design and cultural contents.
