Daesung Hitech will participate in the Daegu Machinery Expo 2020 running Nov. 24-27 at Daegu EXCO to introduce its CNC automatic shelf system.
Daesung Hitech has grown by manufacturing
about 8,000 ultra-precision parts for various industries like semiconductor,
IT, aerospace, and defense, starting with precision parts for machine tools and
various industrial machines. Based on the know-how of manufacturing and
assembling precision parts for the past 25 years, it has successfully
diversified the business of finished machines other than CNC automatic shelves
and tapping centers.
In 2014, it became a family company by
acquiring Nomura, a luxury automatic shelf brand with 70 years of tradition and
the first customer in Korea, and laid the foundation for Daesung Hitech's
second leap forward. It developed the
world's first equipment that can simultaneously control B-axis on the main and
sub-sides as a CNC automatic shelf, and as a tapping center, we developed a
2-head equipment that doubled productivity and efficiency to continuously
develop new and upgrade existing equipment. It is receiving attention from
domestic and foreign customers by launching innovative equipment into the
market.
The company staff said, "We have a variety
of lineup for the CNC automatic shelf ranging from type 3 to type 42, and the
tapping center is made up of the 1-head DST-40A to the turntable type DST-36D,
and DST-40DS equipment, which is a 2-head equipment with doubled productivity
and efficiency. In the case of CNC automatic shelf and tapping centers, the
main purpose is to produce ultra-precision parts."
He said, "The advantage of NOMURADS
equipment is that the UB series of CNC automatic shelf shortens the cycle time
of parts production due to the slant-type compact internal layout. Also, for
NN-20J3XB, the B-axis can be controlled at the same time in the main and the
sub, so users can save time and cost without going through a separate process."
He added, "In tapping center, the space
area occupied by the factory can be reduced by up to 40% through the DST-40DS,
a 2-head equipment that can simultaneously process two products from one
equipment, the production is doubled by processing two parts simultaneously."
Regarding what led to participate in this exhibition, he said, "Daesung Hitech Nomura is aiming at expanding the target to the wider industrial market. We want to expand the base by more active sales activities in the medical (non-implant) market, semiconductor market, and electric vehicle market. As of 2020, we have overseas customers in about 25 countries, and we plan to enter 70 countries by 2025."
He also said, "We are preparing for IPO
listing. By being listed, we plan to lay the foundation for continuous growth,
and we are going to proceed with the ultra-precision parts processing business,
CNC automatic shelf, and finishing machine business including the tapping
center.
The Daegu Machinery Expo 2020 is hosted by Daegu Metropolitan City, organized by EXCO, DGMC (Daegu Gyeongbuk Machinery Cooperative), Daegu Technopark Smart Manufacturing Innovation Center, Korea Engineering Consultants Corp., and KOTRA, and sponsored by Daegu Gyeongbuk Regional MSS, Daegu Mechatronics & Materials Institute, Daegu Gyeongbuk Die & Mold Business Cooperative, DGTool, Daegu
