Epson Korea will participate in the Daegu Machinery Expo 2020 running Nov. 24-27 at Daegu EXCO to introduce a builtl-in SCARA and 6-axis robot.
Epson is a global company that promotes
innovation in four areas of inkjet, visual, wearable, and robotics that are
compact, efficient, and precise. It has a wide lineup of industrial and home
inkjet printers/multifunction printers, 3LCD projectors, smart glasses, and
industrial robot solutions.
SCARA robot
The company staff said, "Including the
SCARA robot, which is currently ranked no. 1 in the worldwide market share for
nine consecutive years, we have a product lineup that can accommodate to
various customer requests and needs with a compact 6-axis robot, 6-axis robot
with a folding arm structure, and SCARA with built-in controller and 6-axis
robot."
He then said, "Epson robot realizes low
vibration even at high speed through its own vibration suppression technology
through crystal MEMS sensor control." Through this, it can shorten the tact
time in the actual work process. In the case of the T and VT series with
built-in controllers, user convenience and design freedom have been improved by
simple installation and space saving. Also, by using Epson force sensors and
not limiting itself to a simple pick & place process, ultra-precision tasks
that had to rely only on the senses of skilled workers can also be automated.
Regarding what led to participate in this
exhibition, he said, "We would like to inform the excellence of Epson Robot to
customers in Daegu and Gyeongnam," hinting the confidence by saying, "We also
prepared the SCARA with built-in controller, pick & place demonstration of
6-axis robot, handling of parts with POS sensor, and conveyor tracking process
demonstration." He then said, "Epson will continue to expand sales and provide
stable technical services with Epson partners in the region."
