LAS VEGAS, USA (AVING Special Report on 'NAB Show 2010') -- <Visual News> Continuing to extend the reach of its camera robotics and control systems for broadcast, industrial, educational and military applications, Telemetrics, Inc. has developed a new interface to one of the most popular integrated production systems in use today.
The new interface provides tight integration between Telemetrics' full line of camera pan/tilt heads and robotics equipment and Slate Series of production systems from Broadcast Pix (Billerica, Mass.), making installation and operation cost-effective, fast and easy.
Broadcasters and all types of operators of the Broadcast Pix Slate integrated production systems—which allow a single operator to run an entire multi-camera production—now have complete access to Telemetrics' proven camera control functions directly from within their respective graphical user interface (GUI) timelines. This new capability streamlines production and improves productivity by providing quicker response times and highly accurate camera control that enables operators to do more with existing resources.
Using the new interface, operators of the Broadcast Pix Slate system can now control Telemetrics equipment standalone or in combination with Telemetrics' Studio and Legislative Software applications. The cost savings of such a tightly integrated system is also substantial, allowing customers to get the most value out of an all-in-one system that features HD/SD video switching, character generation, multi-view monitoring, clip stores, and 2D/3D graphics capability.
