Medonica introduced its low-temperature plasma sterilizer at the 35th International Medical Equipment & Hospital Equipment Exhibition (KIMES 2019) that runs Mar. 14-17 in COEX.
The sterilizer uses hydrogen peroxide as a sterilizer, so it is harmless to the human body. It has less sterilization time compared to other sterilizers (EO gas sterilizer for about 10-11 hours, plasma sterilizer for 50-70 minutes), and the instruments can be used right after sterilization. In addition, since the sterilization is performed at a lower temperature (55-65 °C) than the high-pressure steam sterilizer (121-135 °C), the damage to the sterilized material is relatively small.
The low-temperature plasma sterilizer of Medonica is a late runner in the market, so it has acquired price competitiveness by smart cost-cut, UI (user interface) that enhanced user convenience, 25-55 minute quick sterilization time, proven strong sterilizing power, harmless by-products, and remote monitoring with mobile apps.
The company expects to have sufficient export competitiveness in Southeast Asia, South America, Japan, Europe, and the US as well as export networks such as Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan and other CIS regions where the company has high brand awareness.
