Newsdog Ventures has presented News Dog, a search engine specialized for media content, in CES 2019 'Design & Source & MIK NIGHT', the largest technology show in the world held in Las Vegas, USA from January 8 (Tue) to 11 (Fri).
As a company which provides a various form of media service based on big data technology, News Dog, which is a search engine specialized for media content, is a fake news detecting system applied with a combination of professional journalism and advance technology.
The company created fake news detecting system by finding the interface between the professionalism of the press and technology of algorithm, which implemented a service preventing an encounter with fake news.
Besides detecting fake news, New Dog is implementing multi-content platform through different kinds of functions which are the exportation of content, marketing outcome measurement, provision of financial disclosure in real time, and enhancement of accessibility of high-quality content. Newsdog Ventures, which researched and developed News Dog, is operated through funding of Korean Ministry of SMEs and Startups and other organizations, and it is dragging interest of domestic VC and research center.
Jonghan Lee, CEO of the company, said: "to increase the market share, we are attending many exhibitions like Edison Awards". He added that "we had a lot of meetings with American PR yesterday, and they agreed on the issue of fake news. We are going to progress cooperation through various methods".
