Technical Commercialization department of Industry-university Consortium of Keimyung University introduced 'Driver Condition Monitoring Technology' Based on Electrocardiogram, by participating at '2017 Korea Electronics Show(KES)' which is hosted at Samsung-dong Coex for 4 days from 17th of October(Tues) to 20th(Fri).

This technology is a system which determines and warns driver by measuring electrocardiogram of driver to find whether driver is asleep and if arrhythmia has occurred in real-time. This product is not introduced to market yet, however there is undergoing planning process with a domestic enterprise for commercializing.

Meanwhile, Industry-university Consortium of Keimyung University's Technical Commercialization Department is establishing infrastructures required for technical commercialization and create commercially viable patents through invention interviews. The department is active in various fields such as national affairs, commissioned assignments, offering technological advice, collaborative research, transferring technology, joint-venture etc. it participated as a part of Korea Technology booth (collaborative booth) in 2017 KES.

Meanwhile, KES 2017, hosted by Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy and sponsored by KEA (Korea Electronics Association), is an international show where lots of potential buyers, governments, group officials participate, providing a good place to experience world first products like mobile phone, semiconductor, display, and next generation convergence solutions like industrial convergence, IT convergence, digital broadcasting, smart education and e health.
