ACADEMY Information & Communication introduced their hybrid analog-digital mixing console, FREEPATH AUDIO MIXER, in KOBA 2016 held in Coex Hall A, C and D from May 24th (Tue) to 27th (Fri).
FREEPATH AUDIO MIXER was built upon the positives that analog and digital mixers had in the market, with functions of a digital mixer with the stability and the sound quality of an analog mixer. This hybrid model is praised for setting a new standard in Korea's audio equipment market, along with its independent, domestic technology researched in Korea.
ACADEMY Information & Communication took the weakest point of analog mixers—the limited input/output channels—into consideration when they were developing their FREEPATH AUDIO MIXER. The input/output channel was developed to fit the user's needs, where if one channel fails, the user can easily switch to another channel without an external terminal process. The numbers of input/output channels can also be tailored exactly to what the users want to handle different settings and environments.
FREEEPATH AUDIO MIXER has other useful functions, such as freely adjusting the matrix configuration, BUS, GROUP, selecting the main output, a wide EQ range, increased AUX band usability, easy audio loops via central PC memory, and setting web browser-based audio as the output.
Meanwhile, KOBA 2016 is hosted by KOREA E & EX and The Korea Broadcasting Engineers & Technicians Association, aiming to advance and improve Korean broadcasting culture, video, audio and light industry. World Media Forum, International Conference and Technology Seminar, and other various broadcasting equipment events will also take place at the same time.
