Hyorim Industry (CEO Kim Jong-tae, www.hyorim.co.kr) showcased a non-metal loop chain and flight sludge collector at the 37th International Exhibition on Environmental Technology & Green Energy (ENVEX 2015), which runs Jun. 2-5 at COEX.
The non-metal loop chain and flight sludge collector are an installation that collects deposited sludge with a hopper. At the same time, it gathers and discharges waste using a skimmer.
The system's durability has been improved through non-metal manufacturing of chains, flights, and sprockets.
It has adopted the main part loop chain, so it can be effectively used in high-load states and when settling in a reservoir.
Since the loop chain has a 152.4mm pitch loop shape slide bar, there is no concentration of stress points. Also, it is just like cast iron or metal chains with a working load of 2,000 kgf and the safety factor is high with fracture strength of 10,000 kgf.
Attachments increase the curvature of the body part, so it can stably fix flights that are interlocked with chains. Moreover, corrosion has been solved, using a special chain brush in a non-rotating structure. A polyurethane sprocket is divided into two parts, so the clamping force is outstanding and it can be easily replaced when repairs are needed.
A total of 250 companies from 22 different countries participated in the exhibition, including 181 domestic and 69 international companies, with many from the United States, China, Japan, and Europe.
At the event, 2,000 new environmental technologies and eco-friendly products are on display. These products are expected to lead the environment industry.
