Daesung World (president Lee Joung-gu, www.starworldco.com) participated in the 37th International Exhibition on Environmental Technology & Green Energy (ENVEX 2015), which runs Jun. 2-5 at COEX. There, the company introduced the SDT 170 series, an easy-to-use and accurate ultrasonic diagnostic device.
The SDT 170 series can diagnose devices and equipment, and compared to existing gadgets, it has become more accurate and efficient via ultrasonic technology.
With the digital ultrasonic diagnostic system, an application of ultrasonic waves (natural frequencies that all rotors have), it can easily sense the current condition of the operating bearing by using a sensor to contact the bearing housing.
The SDT 170 series has showcased three major models: SDT170MD (a facility comprehensive diagnosis and tendency management product), SDT170M (a basic model for equipment diagnosis), and SDT170S (a model with internal leak sensor).
This system is equipped with an internal ultrasonic sensor that can test leaks and tightness. It also has an external ultrasonic sensor that can diagnose bearings and the inner parts of a device.
In addition, as an option, there are various diagnostic sensors available, such as closed, extended, and magnetic external ultrasonic sensors. There are also noise, rotation velocity, and non-contact temperature sensors.
Various parts can be tested with this system, including bearing diagnoses and analyses, non-contact temperature measurements, and RPM, noise, and leak testing.
Through the diagnosing of all sorts of rotating machinery and device conditions, it builds a DB for measurements of thermal degradation and computerizes equipment management via graphic outputs and maintenance reports.
A total of 250 companies from 22 different countries participated in the exhibition, including 181 domestic and 69 international companies, with many from the United States, China, Japan, and Europe.
At the event, 2,000 new environmental technologies and eco-friendly products are on display. These products are expected to lead the environment industry.
