Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB, www.myceb.com.my) came to Korea to introduce its roles and make network with exhibition-related associations and companies in "Korea Exhibition International EXPO 2014" held in COEX Hall B from December 18 to 19.
MyCEB was established in 2009 by Ministry of Tourism & Culture to further strengthen Malaysia's business tourism brand and position for the MICE market. A non-profit organization, MyCEB serves as a one-stop center to assist meeting and event planners to bid for and stage regional and international business tourism events in Malaysia and acts as a conduit for national product development.
In 2012, MyCEB secured 26 association and 109 corporate incentive groups representing 61,086 delegates and an economic value of RM 634.6 million (USD 209.4 million). It also assisted 112 meetings and conventions, 15 exhibitions and 128 corporate incentive groups, which contributed an estimated economic impact of RM 1.2 billion (USD396 million) to Malaysia.
"In Korea, the major industries that Korean companies are actively exhibiting in Malaysia are beauty, food & beverages, metal, oil & gas, and trade," said Lim Win Nee, the Manager of Exhibition in Business Events department of MyCEB. She also added, "MyCEB is a one-stop platform for MICE, the direct bridge between the government and private sectors. We provide flexible and extensive service to the exhibitiors, so do not hesitate to contact us."
Organized by Korea Exhibition Organizers Association, Korea Exhibition International EXPO 2014 provides everything that is necessary to organize an exhibition. Exhibitors of this exhibition are exhibition organizers, venues, interior design companies, exhibition service providers, foreign exhibitions and their agents, promotion and gift suppliers, accommodations, printing, design, and photography. It will be held for two days, from December 18 to 19 at COEX.
