BT Inc.(www.btinc.co.kr) introduced diverse medical simulator products for education at Health IT Show 2014 held from 27th(Mon) to 29th(Wed).
BT Inc. has been a producer for diverse medical education simulators since 2011 and acquired Certificate of Venture Business and Certificate of INNO-BIZ. For their notable success, CAE HEALTHCARE, the US company, designated BT Inc. as their sole distributor in Korea.
At this exhibition, BT Inc. showed: BT-CPTA, a CPR training simulator; BT-CEAB, a blood pressure assessment trainer; BT-CSIV, an intravenous injection training arm; and BT-CSIM1,an intramuscular injection training buttocks. Moreover, BT Inc. also showed Maternal Fetal Simulator FIDELIS , the newly launched product in this July, of CAE and Adult Patient Simulator plus other more.
'CPR Training Simulator' is in the shape of human sternum equipped with a pressure spring, and a user is able to effectively educate himself/herself with his/her tablet PC that communicates with the simulator through Bluetooth communication.
"Intravenous Injection Training Arm" is a simulator that literally looks like a separate human arm and is composed of layers of skin pad, so a student using this simulator is able to learn intravenous access, intravenous injection, blood-gathering, and practical training for Basilic, Cephalic, the Median Cubital, and Metacarpal veins. Skinpad is easily mountable and replaceable. The student may feel the same speed of real human blood flow for its equipped quantitative pump when using this simulator.
'Health IT Show 2014' opened to correspond to the market change of healthcare industry globalization and aging population issue and to develop high value-added products and services by converging the standard health industry and IT technology. The show was hosted by MOTIE (Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy) and Busan Metropolitan City.
