Micro Computing, the robot education solution company (the CEO Young Sook Park www.robocity.co.kr) introduced Robocity at "2014 IT Convergence Expo Korea" in EXCO MTCC from 27th to 29th Aug.
Robocity is unusually creative education content providing smart robot experience targeted for various ages among the kids. Surprisingly, the educational content of Robocity starts with three-year old and spans to middle school students. One may think the content may be of simple quality for young ages, but he or she will be shocked by its cutting-edge technology like Virtual Simulator and Augmented Reality program. The user can directly program the robot system through "R-LOGIC," so the user directly design, plan, and mount the blocks to assemble the hardware of robots and program the software through GUI environment or C language compiler.
The user is able to configure the complete version of what robot he or she tries to assemble through using Augmented-Reality marker which allows 3D modeling and mobile game programming. Even with AR, the kid may feel difficulty assembling the robots but Virtual Simulator, educational movies, and workbooks will kindly guide the kids to achieve their creation. With using Augmented-Reality technology, Micro Computing offers DigiLog Book that is convergence of digital contents and analogue paper contents. DigiLogBook is the modern version of 16th century pop-up book, and it targets to educate infants, Nuri Level, before delving into robot education. To more kindly approach infants, the contents of DigiLogBook are story-telling.
The contents are totally student-led activities. Moreover, students can learn the contents through using Web and application on the network so it is also space free. Micro Computing is also preparing to show the phased course, Kids Level, which is the high level than the Nuri Course for ages between 3 and 5.
The CEO said, "Robocity is truly robot education solution for creative and convergence talent brightening the various fields of science/technology/IT/Arts/Mathematics as they can experience future technology, trend, and culture through on/off linked virtual robot content. She added, "I expect someday these robot contents are encouraged to educate students in the public education."
