LAS VEGAS, USA (AVING Special Report on 'interbike 2008') -- <Visual News> Pinarello unveiled its new frame set for 2009 'FP6' at the Interbike Expo in Las Vegas from September 24-26, 2008.
A frame descended from the Paris Carbon, which was named 2007 Best Race Bike by Bicycling magazine. It is based on the silhouette of the Paris Carbon frame, but is built with 30HM3K carbon fiber. This it's a bit less expensive grade of carbon fiber than was used on the Paris, but the ride characteristics will be similar.
The FP6 won't be quite as stiff or light as the Paris, but will exhibit the responsive Pinarello ride qualifies while remaining comfortable for long distances. The FP6 utilizes the Pinarello fork and seat stay system for increased responsiveness and comfort.
