LAS VEGAS, USA (AVING Special Report on 'interbike 2008') -- <Visual News> Engineered in Germany, UVEX introduced the newest additions to the 2009 collection at the Interbike Expo in Las Vegas from September 24-26, 2008.
With the launch of 3 new top of the line road helmets, 3 elite race helmets and stylish new graphic treatments for our existing models, UVEX continues to prove itself as a top competitor in the cycling field.
Loaded with features, produced in Germany and designed for comfort and performance, the quality of UVEX products is put to the test daily in some of the toughest conditions around the world. From 2008's Olympic gold medalist Kristin Armstrong, road teams Françoise des Jeux and Team Columbia, and the SoBe and Team Bulls mountain bike teams, UVEX products are designed to keep a rider safe, cool and aerodynamic.
In addition to our new helmets, UVEX continues to offer the vertical fit system introduced in 2007 on seven helmet models. UVEX's proprietary Individual Adapting System(IAS) has always ensured a perfect fit around the head, and now the fit can be adjusted for the height of a rider's head as well. As before, the IAS knob at the back of the helmet allows the helmet's head circumference to be adjusted freely with one hand and with fine accuracy. Now, however, two rear fastening elements on the IAS ring allow the halo's seven-point adjustment frame to be adjusted up to 22 mm, ensuring a more perfect fit for every rider on every ride, no matter what shape or size head.
