GNGWC 2007 Southeast Asia regional finals finished successfully

SEOUL, Korea (AVING Special Report on 'GNGWC 2007') -- <Visual News> GNGWC 2007(Game & Game World Championship)’s Southeast Asian regional finals held in Ho Chi Minh City on October 13th. Nine finalists were chosen to go to the GNGWC 2007 Grand Final in Korea on December while 5,000 people watching.

The ‘Silk Road Online', and 'Bomb ‘N Dash' were selected as official games for the regional finals in Vietnam which held by VINASA(Vietnam software organization) during the ISGAF 2007(International Software and Game Festival), and ‘Warlock’ was added separately for regional final in Philippines. Total 9 players won the tickets to the Grand Final which will be held in Korea on Dec. 1st out of 44 players from the preliminary online-match.

This regional finals were managed by KIPA(President: Youngmin Yu, Korea IT Promotion Agency) which works as part of foreign countries direction service and marketing support business of Korean online game, and sponsored by the KT Corp.

Mr. Kwon(KIPA) said that we could confirm the growth possibility of online game industry in Vietnam which is emerging market through this Southeast Asian Finals event. Also we will try continuously to expand awareness of Korean online game in this infinite market.
