
NEW YORK, USA (AVING) -- <Visual News> KT is introducing world's first WiBro-enabled notebook pc on November 13. It is, in fact, an upgrade version of its 'NT-Q35', adding WiBro capability to its original features of 12.1-inch wide 1.89kg notebook with multi-tasking capability and multimedia features.
A company official said that the launch of this world's first WiBro-enabled notebook pc allows users to enjoy various services through high-speed WiBro that makes extra WiBro SIM card superfluous. It also includes WLAN and DMB capability that opens new possibility to a sort of 'convergence' service for WiBro-DMB.
Beginning with this notebook pc, he added, the company will launch various portable WiBro-enabled devices including UMPC, tablet pc, PMP, and DBDM (dual band dual mode) device that enables users to use mobile phone service and WiBro simultaneously.
Suggesting price is between 1,600,000(KRW) and 2,000,000(KRW) considering subsidies ranging from 90,000(KRW) to 240,000(KRW) provided by KT to its WiBro-service subscribers.
