LG Electronics (www.lge.co.kr) is introducing a qwerty smartphone with comfortable use and design.
'Optimus Q2,' which's exclusively released via LG Uplus from next weekend, is a follow-up model of 'Optimus Q,' which created smartphone fever last year.
Optimus Q2 fully revised inconveniences of qwerty smartphone by reflecting customers' demands on a follow-up model.
Optimus Q2, even though it combined horizontal slide qwerty keypad and 4'' WVGA class IPS display, is light and thin with 12.3mm of thickness and 147g of light.
It features high performance with 1.2GHz dual core processor, 700nit IPS display, and Gingerbread OS. In addition, it adopts touchable front button for emphasizing clean and refined design. It's available in 2 colors – black and white.
Furthermore, it supports Wi-Fi Direct that realizes maximum 22 times of transfer rate comparing with Bluetooth for convenient contents share between certified devices, and features 5 megapixel camera and front-facing camera for videophone function.
Young-Bae Na, responsible for MC (Mobile Communications) for LG Electronics in Korean market, said, "We're going to target consumers in favor of qwerty keypad, especially 20s and 30s, by the advanced qwerty smartphone with differentiated design and functions".
