Majutech will participate in the 36th Korea
International Medical & Hospital Equipment Show (KIMES 2021) which will run
Mar. 18-21 to showcase VeinVu 100, its non-contact vein viewer system.
VeinVu 100 visualizes blood vessels on the
skin surface by highlighting blood vessels with augmented reality by using
near-infrared and DLP projection technology for patients like infants, the
elderly, hospitalized patients, and people of color with no visible blood
vessels when injecting intravenously. With the blood vessel viewer system that
can increase the success rate of intravenous injections, it can reduce the pain
from patients and burden and stress from the nurses, and also reduce time and
cost from using disposable items and unsuccessful injections, satisfying
everyone.
Based on the consultation and survey of
medical professionals specialized in intravenous surgery in university
hospitals, the company has focused on researching on the required usability,
convenience, and reasonable price, and by developing system modules and
hardware/software on its own, it has made the product that has superior
performance and is low-priced and easy to use. Also, the HD (precision) mode
shows blood vessels in children and faces better, and with the calibration
feature that other products do not have, it can display accurate blood vessels
within 200um error at any time.
By applying USB-PD technology, it boasts
superior convenience and usability with longer time of use, faster charging,
and external auxiliary battery connection compared to other products.
In addition, since it records and manages
equipment status, it can be used conveniently and safely as a product capable
of quick response and accurate technical service.
This product has obtained medical device
grade 1 approval from the MFDS, and has obtained European CE certification, US
FDA registration, and medical device quality system ISO13485 license. The
company has registered the patent for the vascular fluoroscopy device and
method, and has even acquired patent for the next model.
In Korea, it is used in various fields such
as general pediatrics, emergency rooms, plastic surgery, public institutions,
and fire departments, and overseas, it is highly demanded by the people of
color. Currently, it is expanding its exports to the world through government
bidding, including hospitals located in various countries, promoting the
excellence of its products.
After the establishment in 2015, Majutech
acquired patents for vascular fluoroscopy devices and methods, and catheter
guide systems and methods. Starting with the sale of VeinVu 100, its own venous
vessel viewer, it aims to become the world's no. 1 specialist in intravenous
injections along with the release of safety syringes and guide systems for
intravenous injections in the future.
