Human Meditek will participate in the 36th Korea International Medical & Hospital Equipment Show (KIMES 2021) which will run Mar. 18-21 to showcase its low-temperature plasma sterilizer and cassette-type compact high-pressure steam sterilizer.

Human Meditek is the second company to develop low-temperature plasma sterilizers in the world in 2003, and has been playing a leading role in the global plasma sterilization market based on its manufacturing, sales, and operation know-how accumulated over the past 18 years. Currently, more than 1,000 units of equipment are installed and operated through over 50 direct sales agencies around the world.

It has built a reputation as the most stable and efficient low-temperature plasma sterilizer manufacturer in the world. In KIMES 2021, it will introduce two HMA low-temperature plasma sterilizers and the newly launching cassette-type compact high-pressure steam sterilizer in addition to the existing HMTS low-temperature plasma sterilizer series.

Human Meditek's new HMA low-temperature plasma sterilizer comes in two types, 30L and 55L. By incorporating 20 years of know-how in developing plasma sterilizers, the sterilizers have become compact enough to be supplied to small clinics and general hospitals at low price. As a result, Human Meditek's lineup of low-temperature plasma sterilizers has been diversified from compact to high-capacity, and the company is preparing for more aggressive marketing by expanding its sales strategy previously focused on overseas markets to local market.

In this year's show, Human Meditek will introduce a cassette-type compact high-pressure steam sterilizer (model name: HMA-7S) for the first time in addition to the low-temperature plasma sterilizer. HMA-7S is a Class B-type cassette-type compact sterilizer capable of sterilizing all types of medical devices such as packaged or unpackaged solid devices and porous and hollow devices with a small size of 50cm in width, 70cm in height, 23cm in height, and 45kg in weight. Also, the 7L sterilization chamber volume boasts the largest size among the existing cassette types and fast sterilization time, taking 9-45 minutes depending on the process. Above all, the biggest advantage of the HMA-7S model is its perfect drying ability. Among the existing compact high-pressure steam sterilizers, it has been proven in several dental clinics and general hospitals to have the best drying ability. Since the use of incompletely dried sterilized products is the main cause of cross-infection, the drying ability was highly praised by the hospital staff.

Human Meditek walked single path in the development of plasma sterilizers for 20 years. Using KIMES 2021 as the stepping stone, the company aims to introduce a variety of infection control products in the future. In line with the international sterilization regulations that keeps strengthening, the company will be reborn as a company that specializes in infection control that hospitals can trust.
