ClariPi (CEOs Park Hyun-suk and Kim
Jong-hyo) will participate in the 36th Korea International Medical &
Hospital Equipment Show (KIMES 2021) which will run Mar. 18-21 to showcase
ClariCT.AI, its AI CT noise reduction technology.
ClariCT.AI is an AI-based product to solve
the radiation dose issue in CT examinations that has been raised. It is an
innovative product that generates high-quality images suitable for diagnosis
even with a very small amount of radiation while using an existing CT device.
ClariPi CEO Park Hyun-suk said, "With
this US patent registration we have acquired, our unique ClariPi technology has
been recognized globally once again. Our product's performance and stability
have been already confirmed by FDA and CE certifications, and the superiority
of the product has been confirmed by test verification from a foreign medical
device company. And by acquiring the US patent, we have even made the barrier
to protect the technology."
The acquisition of the US patent is
considered as the achievement obtained from taking the first place in acquiring
the patent in the radiation diagnosis equipment market as a global company.
Until now, this market in the advanced industry had been monopolized by
advanced countries.
AI technology for obtaining ultra-low-dose,
high-definition image in actual CT scans is a key technology that determines
the dominance of the future CT market, and global CT companies such as GE,
Siemens, and Canon are fiercely competing to acquire patents.
ClariPi has been recognized for being the
AI technology that is compatible with any CT device, whereas the patents of
other CT manufacturers are mostly used in the case of using the hardware
characteristics of their CT devices, making them not universal to use. The
company staff explained that the company's technology has overcome the barrier
of entry and is at the verge of entering the global market.
Not only that, ClariPi is developing
various related products spun off from its flagship product ClariCT.AI, and is
expanding its global sales network by securing agents in four major bases,
including the EU and the US.
