EverEx will participate in the Seoul Pavilion in CES 2021, the world's largest technology exhibition, to showcase KneeEx solution.
EverEx is a healthcare startup founded in 2019 by an orthopedic surgeon. KneeEx, developed by EverEx, consists of exercise equipment that allows customized exercise according to individual knee conditions and a dedicated mobile application that can control it and check data.
The exercise equipment is equipped with a function to adjust the resistance and angle according to the user's knee condition and desired exercise intensity. When the EMS patches are worn at the same time, the muscle exercise efficiency can be maximized. It works with a dedicated mobile application through Bluetooth. The application recommends personalized exercise programs according to the user's knee condition and gender/age, and the user can exercise while receiving an accurate exercise guide provided by EverEx.
The company staff said, "Currently, the knee joint rehabilitation market is mostly formed by the rehabilitation therapist exercise market, and there is no competitive solution with high effectiveness in the market. CPM, the low/high frequency EMS massager which increases the range of motion of the joint after surgery, is our competitor, but these products have low effectiveness, and it is not convenient to use at home. KneeEx is the only portable device that can exercise the muscles around the knee at home, and the app provides personalized exercise, which is what differentiates us from others."
He then said, "We would like to introduce our own solutions to the global market for the first time by participating in CES 2021, and at the same time, we are looking for good cooperation partners and buyers in the global market. From 2021, we aim to expand users of KneeEx solutions through active marketing, and in the long term, we aim to establish ourselves as a global leading digital therapy (DTx) provider."
Continuing from last year, Seoul Metropolitan City has set up Seoul Pavilion in CES 2021 this year as well.
